Five Injured in Syrian Raid on Mountains Surrounding Arsal
Five people were injured on Thursday when Syrian warplanes raided the mountains surrounding the northeastern border town of Arsal, the state-run National News Agency said.
The sounds of explosions were heard in areas far from the region, NNA said.
The injured were taken to a field hospital in Arsal, it added.
The Arsal area, which hosts tens of thousands of Syrian refugees, has been hit by repeated cross-border fire in recent months, some of it deadly.
Smuggling routes used by opposition forces to move fighters and weapons back and forth between Lebanon and Syria pass through the Arsal area.

@FD : when Israel was bombing us in 06, we were actually hosting tens of families from the south offering them shelter, food, water and medicine. The only person hiding in caves is Hassan Nasrallah with his STONE AGE Hezbollah terrorist organisation.
We are the true resistance against Israel and the plague they have established in Lebanon called Hezbollah which provides an illusion of resistance when in fact they conduct organised crimes and actually protect Israel from 500000 palestinians !

FD : The sad truth about your Hezbollah and their UNdivine victory is that Israel Pulled out of Lebanon in 2000 and interrupted their war in 2006. Hezbollah never won ! Only in the illusion Hassan NAsrallah depicts in your tiny little brain !

FT, with all respect I believe it is irrelevant that whether it is in Arsal or near Arsal. The SAA has bigger fish to fry inside Syria. No regular army from a sisterly arab country should ever be allowed to shell our country. This is an act of war on our sovereign nation. HA should not be allowed in Syria to fight in its war as well. HA should be sticking to Israel resistance wa bess. Period! FYI the people of Zahle are not going to Syria to protect religious shrines that are being desecrated.

If it was such a victory, why did Hassan apologize to the Lebanese people for his grave error ?
If it was such a victory, why is it that the Lebanese people payed with their prosperity, economic stability and growth, jobs, infrastructure for Hezbollah's mistake ?

I couldn't be more "on target". In fact, the target is Hezbollah's weapons. It's the only obstacle to peace and prosperity.
Hezbollah in fact has no single plan for peace and prosperity. They thrive on war and war-profits and use said wars to indoctrinate their people when all they want is proper jobs, food, housing, education, culture, peace... something Hezbollah or religion will never bring them !
