Israel Calls for U.N. Action against Hizbullah after Nasrallah's Claims
Israel has asked the United Nations to take action against Hizbullah after the party's secretary-general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said that his group was behind a blast that targeted Israeli troops last month.
Israel's U.N. Ambassador Ron Prosor said in a letter to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the Security Council that Nasrallah’s admission is further evidence that Hizbullah continues to operate south of the Litani River in violation of Resolution 1701 that ended the 2006 war between the two sides.
"Yes, the explosion in the Shebaa Farms that Hizbullah has not claimed until now was the work of the resistance, which means the work of Hizbullah," Nasrallah told As Safir daily earlier this week.
The explosion on March 14 came around a month after Israeli warplanes carried out air strikes in the Lebanese-Syrian border area of Janta that were believed to have targeted its positions.
"This was not the reply, but this was part of the reply," Nasrallah said.
Tensions have been running high between Israel and Hizbullah for months, with the Jewish state warning it would carry out strikes to prevent the group from obtaining advanced weaponry.

Brother FD, Hady Nasrallah was killed in action and not executed by the Israelis and this is something I can personally confirm. I may br wrong here, but my feeling is of the eerie kind whereas things may not be like how we see them in public. Personally I do feel that there exists lots of connivance between Hezbollah and Israel, and trust me, I am not the only having this feeling.

So are we to imply that another 1000 Lebanese citizens, of which over 90% were Shiites, need to be killed so that HA can continue to exchange flowers with Israel. Will Dahye and southern villages need to be destroyed again so that the game can continue. Is Qana 3 in the works. I sure hope not.

The last time I checked the Jewish Zionist army was occupying Lebanese land therefore the Lebanese have the right to resist whether hezbollah or otherwise. Ahh, don't you just love it when Israel walks right into the propaganda trap that Hizb has set for it? Come on Israel, keep threatening and attacking Hizb, for how else could they shore up Arab support except through a common enemy? If even by Hasan's own admission some M14s started supporting Hizb once Al-Qaeda, on Hizb's invitation, started operating in Lebanon... The jewish religion has retaliation build into it. "An eye for an eye" is a basic tenet of their religion. (as opposed to the beauty of forgiveness of Christian dogma)
