Indictments in Cases Linked to Hariri’s Murder to Be Released Wednesday
Indictments in the assassination of former Lebanese Communist Party leader George Hawi and attempted assassinations of former ministers Elias Murr and Marwan Hamadeh will likely be released on Wednesday, revealed widely informed sources to Al-Liwaa daily in remarks published on Saturday.
The indictment in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri meanwhile may be released at the end of August, they added.
This announcement was made in light of recent revelations that the cases of Hawi, Murr, and Hamadeh are linked to Hariri’s.
A delegation from the Special Tribunal for Lebanon had held a meeting on Friday with Hawi’s widow Sossy, and daughter, Naya, at the Justice Palace to inform them that Hawi’s case is connected to Hariri’s, reported the pan-Arab daily al-Hayat on Saturday.
Hamadeh and Murr were delivered the same information during separate meetings with the delegation on Thursday, it added.
The delegation also later held talks on Friday with the families of victims who were killed during Murr and Hamadeh’s assassination attempts, it said.
It explained that new findings in the investigations in Hariri, Murr, Hamadeh, and Hawi’s cases led to the conclusion that the four accused in Hariri’s murder are involved in the other three crimes.
These three files will immediately be removed from the Lebanese judiciary and handed to the STL, al-Hayat said.
The indictment in Hariri’s assassination was handed to the Lebanese judiciary in late June and it was accompanied by arrest warrants against four members of Hizbullah suspected of being involved in the crime.

Couldn' t agree more small.axe with your comment. Almost one year ago, a canadian news agency released a scoop , which somehow did not resonate the way it should have, maybe to it' s frightening content (then) which people preferred not to hear: Khamenei ordered directly the assassination of Hariri. Easy to understand f one assumes this truly organic financial political ideological bond of the Hezb with Iran. In fact it' s an 85% owned subsidiary by Iran Corp, with all the operational structural reporting and subordinate lines one can assume.
As to Joumblatt, yes he' s taking his customary slow motion turn. It will be interesting to see if his wouldbe ministers resignation, will ultimately cause the downfall of the government under the much advocated constitutionnally required consensual governing rule established under heavy threats and then casually brushed aside by those very same who fought for it and threatened to impose it by force of arms!!

@small.axe You speak the absolute truth with regard to Hezbollah/Iran and the act of war executed by Iran against Lebanon through its agent Hezbollah.
About Jumblatt, if the reason he left M14 has been resolved, he will rejoin M14. If the reason why he left M14 has not been resolved, you are right, he will leave M8 anyway as this Aoun/Hezbollah cabal cannot put any distance between itself and the murderous Assad Regime next door, which is going down, or the indictable Khamenei Regime in Iran that ordered the assassination of Rafiq Hariri.
The Aoun/Hezbollah cabal, the Assad Regime and Khamenei are all one in the same, all toxic, all radioactive and any one who plays politics in the Middle East by surviving, must distance themself from the toxicity of that mix.

Why Wednesday? Couldn't they push it back to Tuesday? They know the losers and idiots are anxious to to hear what is already known for years. It always sounds good and fresh to their long ears. So why make them wait? The sooner they get a shot of wasted hope the better they feel. GIVE THEM A BREAK.
Remember that Hezbollah was formed, trained, subsidized and indoctrinated by Iran. 85% of their funding still comes from Iran. They are a subordinate division of the Iranian Quds force.
They are a very hierarchy-oriented organization. No major activities carried out by Hezbollah can occur without the explicit orders coming from Iran. So now the STL has proof (according to these reports), that Hezbollah members are carried out the assassinations of Hariri and Hawi, and the attempted assassinations of Hamade, Murr, and Chidiac. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out they were also more than likely involved in the other assassinations.
Hezbollah can NOT carry out these activities unless ordered to do so by Iran.
These activities amount to an act of war against the state of Lebanon, perpetrated by agents acting on behalf of the state of Iran.
