Miqati Says Truth in Hariri Case Must Be Unveiled 'Away from Politicization'
Prime Minister Najib Miqati stressed Thursday the need to unveil the truth behind the 2005 assassination of ex-PM Rafik Hariri “away from any politicization or vengeance.”
During a cabinet session held Thursday, Miqati said: “Some may evaluate the content of the indictment in different ways, but what concerns us the most is unveiling the truth behind the assassination of martyr premier Rafik Hariri and his companions away from any politicization or vengeance.”
Commenting on the unsealing Wednesday by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon of large portions of its indictment and the statement issued Thursday by STL President Antonio Cassese on the Lebanese government’s position, Miqati said: “Just like the previous time, the Lebanese leaders have shown awareness and a high sense of responsibility.”
The premier warned against dragging the country into sectarian strife, noting that “the relevant security authorities are watching over the security situation in the country.”
Miqati, however, reassured the Lebanese that security agencies will not be lenient towards any attempt to undermine stability.
He stressed that all the Lebanese must shoulder the responsibility of preserving security, calling on “all political leaders to practice their right to democratic political action, without resorting to any acts that may spread fear or cause security problems.”

Very simple Mr. Miqati, the STL is not after politicization or vengeance. They simply want to question these 4 individuals who are suspected of commiting a crime. Why don't you ask Nasrallah to turn in these suspects and Hizballah will gain more prestige if they can prove their innocense. You know as well as the whole world knows that Hizballah in collaboration with their masters, Iran and Assad regimes, plotted to assasinate Rafik Hariri, and you know very well that Hizballah role in the assasination will evetually renders you useless premier for being appointed by a criminal organization. For you unfortunately, there is no win situation. They brought used you to head a Hizballah goverment and are using you. You will long enough to realize the damage you brought onto yourself and to Lebanon.

The truth about Hariri s murder, and some of the others too (let's not forget them at all), has been unveiled away from politicization. It is the accused who have been all along politicizing the case.
