Report: March 14 to Resort to Demos to ‘Defend STL’

W300

The March 14 forces leaderships will hold an extensive meeting next week as the Special Tribunal for Lebanon probing the assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri published on Wednesday the indictment.

High-ranking sources told An Nahar newspaper on Thursday that the meeting will issue a “strict and critical” statement.

The STL published on Wednesday the indictment after it said there was enough evidence to try four Hizbullah members in the murder of Hariri.

An Nahar reported that the March 14 forces will deal with Hizbullah on the basis that it is “obstructing the course of justice, and protecting the suspects.”

An extraordinary meeting will follow the first meeting at Bristol Hotel where the conferees might agree on launching a multifaceted campaign that might reach the stage of protesting to “defend the STL, justice and to force (PM Najib) Miqati’s cabinet to fulfill Lebanon’s international commitments or resign.”

A high-ranking source told An Nahar on Wednesday that Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s stance on the indictment rules out any cooperation with the STL.

The source noted the March 14 forces will move towards an offensive position to force a political de-facto and face Hizbullah’s policy.

Considering these farts' track record of successes, expect more of the same in whatever endeavor they embark on. The hell with this STL if it relies on these farts to defend it. We saw how they defended Lebanon by collaborating with all of its enemies and fleecing the nation by 70 billion USD. If these farts were a pet they would have been put to sleep a lonnnnnnnng time ago.

@bigdig
please keep dreaming of winning with numbers !!

and if u decide to use your weapons this time, the military forces will have its word and will not stand still and watch you take over downtown, it will be very dangerous this time to use weapons as you will push us on the strife of civil war!

democratically, the WIN IS OURS and thats what only matters !

There are groups who are used to resolve their problems by the use of bombs in public places. They have a great history in this practice starting from 1984 till the Antelias incident. Lets wait for a new 2006 war. We want a new victory. We miss seeing the "V" victory symbol exhibited in the air...

Any Lebanese wise and decent citizen would refrain from attending such sectarian and political event that does nothing but intensify the already fragile situation….It’s extremely unwise and unproductive to call for such gathering ….It will bring nothing but more division…Both camps will end up clashing and Lebanon, decent people and the army will pay the price..
Cheers

Even if the demos are peacefully and convincing,, nothing will change the minds of the hardheaded old fashioned towel head mullahs from the filthy non-islamic militia as they need the power and weapons to be heard. Without them they are nothing. They are a disgrace to our fellow Lebanese Shiites.

its time to just call this game and say...we want isreals friends out of our
country. We want murders that went into the hospitals and killed people
tried and we want those that conspired with isreal hung in beirut. We no longer want Antuan's lahad's friends forgiven. We want to know were harari is
hiding and why is he not in lebanon. we also want the saudi dogs to leave our country.
