Report: Judiciary to Summon TIME Reporters
The Lebanese judiciary will summon reporters working for TIME magazine after its correspondent Nicholas Blanford provided General Prosecutor Saeed Mirza with their names, informed sources said.
The sources told pan-Arab daily al-Hayat published Friday that during his meeting with Mirza on Tuesday, Blanford told the general prosecutor about the names of all reporters working for the magazine after claiming that he did not know who carried out an interview with one of the four suspects indicted in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s assassination case.
Blanford told Mirza that the interview was published as part of an analytical story he had written on the Special Tribunal for Lebanon indictment and Hizbullah’s stance from it.
He said TIME editors in New York told him they had an interview with the unidentified suspect who claimed that Lebanese authorities knew where he was but could not arrest him.
“I didn’t write the interview,” Blanford stressed.

How professional ! I wish they could do the same to the eunuchs who dressed up in long black burkas hit the STL investigators in Dahye and stole their hardware, under the watchul eyes of those other eunchs , the security forces suppposed to protect them! I wish they could summon the Hezb hierarchy, to investigate more about the antelias bomb and the hezbollah explosives expert that blew himself up inadvertently!
