Report: No Political Motive Behind Kidnapping of 2 Syrians in Bekaa

W300

Lebanese security forces have found some clues on who stands behind the kidnapping of two Syrian nationals last week although high-ranking security sources have ruled out any political motive behind their abduction.

Three gunmen kidnapped Mohammad Ayman Ammar, 49 and Nour Jamil Qadoura, 30, in the Bekaa valley town of Bar Elias on Friday after they intercepted their Jaguar upon entering Lebanon from Syria.

However, the vehicle’s driver, a Lebanese named Khalil Saleh al-Agha, wasn’t abducted.

The sources told pan-Arab daily al-Hayat that the search is ongoing for the two men. However, their kidnapping isn’t linked to the developments in Syria.

They also denied that the now defunct Fatah al-Islam terrorist group had seized them and that a media outlet had received an ultimatum from one of the network’s former officials.

The clues that were found will allow security forces to identify the abductors who are believed to be demanding a ransom in return for the release of Ammar and Qadoura, the sources said.

The Lebanese security forces are full of **** . The reason why these guys were kidnapped was because they transferred 4 million euros to Lebanon when things started getting bad in Syria 5 months ago. In order to get back at these guys, the Syrian thug regime along with their slaves in Lebanon kidnapped these guys and asked for a ransom of 4 Million euros. They actually even told the family of Ayman Ammar (acquaintances of ours) that "since you're so good and fast at transferring money out of syria, let's see how good and quick you are to bring it back".
