Jumblat Visits Dahiyeh to Offer Condolences to Hizbullah Official

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat visited Beirut's Southern suburbs recently in a first-of-its-kind move after Hizbullah engaged in the war raging in the neighboring country Syria.

Jumblat visited Dahiyeh to offer condolences to Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's political adviser Hajj Hussein Khalil on the death of his mother, As Safir newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The two officials reportedly exchanged talks for half an hour in presence of the party's Liaison and Coordination Officer Wafiq Safa.

Jumblat warned Hizbullah in a recent interview that it has “drowned in the Syrian mud and it would be mistaken to think that it triumphed after what happened in Yabrud.”

“The decision of Hizbullah's withdrawal from Syria is an Iranian one and the policy of the Resistance Brigades has no value,” he noted.

But Jumblat underlined that he is “not against the resistance” but rather with “correcting the aim of its rifle.”

Hizbullah's involvement in Syria has prompted bomb attacks by extremist groups against areas in Lebanon sympathetic to the group, killing mostly civilians.

Lebanese parties are sharply divided over the crisis in Syria as the March 8 alliance continuously expresses its support to (President Bashar) Assad, while the March 14 camp voices its support for the popular revolt.

Traitor, murderer and racist. He killed thousand of Christians and organised the Damour massacres.
I call on the UE, on France and on honest NGOs to sue this murderer in front of international justice in La Haye

The social fabric of this country will remain alive by participating in these events and offer condolences to other lebanese no matter what their religious or political affiliation is. This is the highest standard of integrity. The Khalil's are the truest arab and lebanese.
The hate oozing out from the comments above just show you how some lebanese are bent on destroying our country. Only the purest form of najais could write these words.
