Barcelona: Record Income of $711M Last Season

Barcelona's vice-president in charge of finances says it had a record income of 530 million euros ($711 million) over the past year, and managed a profit of 41 million euros ($55 million).

Javier Faus presented the club's financial report for 2013-2014 on Tuesday, and said it made money on it operations, year-to-year, and reduced its net debt.

Faus said net debt was reduced by 44 million euros to stand, on June 30, at 287 million euros.

Faus, who took over finances in 2010, said during that time the club had reduced debt by 143 million euros and risen from 24th to second position in the Forbes ranking of the world's most valuable clubs.
