A shepherd was killed on Tuesday in an explosion whose nature is still unclear in Bekaa's Adous plain.

According to the National News Agency, "a loud unidentified explosion was heard in Adous plain, which led to the death of Abdullah Niraz Arafat, who is a naturalized citizen."

Meanwhile, al-Jadeed reported that the incident was due to “a shell explosion.”

NNA said that the shepherd's hands were amputated and that he sustained abdomen and left leg wounds.

Immediately, the Internal Security Forces and forensic evidence agents arrived on the scene and launched an investigation.

Lady and gentleman, please: The overwhelming majority of Shia in Lebanon are Ithna 3ashriyyé ("Twelvers"), while the Houthis are Zaydiyyé. At least if you want to attack somebody, attack them, and not somebody who is remotely affiliated with them.
