Abou Faour Bans ZEIN Products and those Manufactured at LAVENDER SARL
Health Minister Wael Abou Faour announced on Tuesday that he will order the withdrawal of all products manufactured at LAVENDER SARL factory and all merchandises carrying the slogan ZEIN, LBCI reported.
Abou Faour said that the LAVENDER products do not meet the health and environmental standards, and ZEIN products, of controversial herb expert Zein al-Atat, do not maintain guaranteed quality.
In 2011, the health ministry stated that ZEIN products are unhealthy and most of the time harm rather than cure people.
It also said that the products have not been registered at the ministry and has therefore asked the ministry of economy to withdraw the products from Lebanon's market.

Good work honorable minister, jolly good work, we the people are fully behind you and are proud of you. But Sir, you are a minister of the state of Lebanon, I honor the noble flag of our country, but why the Socialist party's flag, into what context does it fall? I feel it has no relevance, we as of now need to set aside all this silly party promotional posturing and just unite as Lebanese, period and nothing else whatsoever Sir.
Zein is an impostor and a crook by excellence. His business is registered to bag only tea, Ceylon tea and nothing else. The fact that Zein 3atet appears on TV, many Lebanese TV station, peddling truly dubious products, and behaves as if he was a certified medic leaves o lot of gaping holes to be questioned: Who is providing him all this massive finance? Who is giving him protection? A lot of questions that the honorable Minister Abou Faour must bring to the surface. How many unsuspecting if not absolute fools have taken his prescriptions and who today are paying the ultimate price of using such harmful products, God only knows. Zein must be arrested, jailed and tried, including all those that gave him support and we care less whom they are. Let justice be served.
