Hajj Hassan: March 14 Doesn't Want to 'Lebanonize' Solution

W300

A Hizbullah minister on Sunday accused the rival March 14 camp of refusing to “Lebanonize” solutions to the country's political crisis.

“This camp is insisting not to Lebanonize the solution whereas we want a Lebanese-Lebanese solution without any bets or changes,” Industry Minister Hussein al-Hajj Hassan said during a memorial service in Iaat.

“If you want a solution, come to an inter-Lebanese solution, away from what's happening in the region, because the developments are in our favor and not in your favor,” he added.

“The March 14 camp was counting on the war in the region and betting that the resistance (Hizbullah) would lose and they are still betting on a drastic change, the fall of the regime in Syria and changes in the region,” Hajj Hassan charged.

Lebanon has been without a president since the term of Michel Suleiman ended on May 25, 2014 due to political disputes and electoral rivalry among the parties.

Al-Mustaqbal movement leader ex-PM Saad Hariri, a senior March 14 leader, launched late in 2015 a proposal to nominate Marada Movement chief MP Suleiman Franjieh, a Hizbullah ally, for the presidency.

Hizbullah, however, rejected the proposal, stressing commitment to the nomination of its main Christian ally, Change and Reform bloc chief MP Michel Aoun.

Hizbullah and some of its allies, as well as March 14's Lebanese Forces, have argued that Aoun is more eligible than Franjieh to become president given the size of his parliamentary bloc and his influence in the Christian community.

March 14 wants the Saudi Caliphate of Lebanon.

His facial expression is one of smelling poop. Maybe he grew up with 20 siblings (9 months apart) with lots of poopy underwear around him and the expression became permanent.

I do not like large families that raise brainwashed children with backward anti-Lebanese ideologies and that promote thuggery instead of good education with positive contribution to society.

The saddest thing, this is coming from "Iranianization" and the only what looks like "choice" is the Saudiization? Thing is both are foreign entities, yet it is hypocritical for an Iranian implant to say "Lebanonize" as they are the same foreign influence yet opposite spectrum. Lebanon should not be dictated by a single foreign force. Regular Lebanese are stuck between manipulation from both, Christians being used as pawns, and this is absolutely pathetic. I'm sure the political babbling will continue for ages and some will pretend to care, but in reality this is the same shameful cycle facing Lebanon. Zero caliphate, zero Iranian expansion, this is Lebanon, doesn't seem like neither one of them will grow up.
