Hariri to Launch New Phase in Lebanon during Tripoli Rally

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri is expected to issue a number of “decisive” positions on several matters during the Mustaqbal Movement’s Tripoli rally scheduled for Sunday afternoon, reported the pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat on Sunday.

Mustaqbal politburo member former MP Mustapha Alloush told the daily: “Hariri’s speech during the rally will pave the way for a new phase in Lebanon, especially after the recent events in country and the region.”

“There is a need to communicate directly with the citizens and present the new steps that the March 14 forces will take during the upcoming months,” he added.

“The current heated political rhetoric demonstrates that the government is not homogenous and it was solely aimed at toppling Hariri’s cabinet and keeping the March 14 forces away from power to serve Hizbullah and Syria’s interests,” he noted.

Alloush predicted that further cracks will emerge in the government as the Syrian regime further weakens.

The Mustaqbal Movement is scheduled to hold a rally in commemoration of Lebanon’s independence.

Hariri on Saturday urged his supporters to rally en masse at the event.

“I invite you to join en masse the Independence Day rally in Tripoli to revive the Taif accord and to announce solidarity with the Syrian people,” he said on the social networking website twitter.

“The Taif accord was and still is Lebanon’s only salvation,” Hariri added.

The rally will be held under the slogan of ‘The Fall of Arms and the Spring of Independence’ at the Rashid Karami International Fair Complex.

hizbushaitan and its allies tried and failed dramatically with governing the country.
it is time they admit they do not know how to govern a country and step down.

The decisive decision is that he is going to go back to school to learn how to read. The last great thing he came up with was calling KSA a "Democracy".
