Fayyad Says Resistance's 'Vital Role' Brought Stability to Lebanon
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad stated that Lebanon is “better off than any of its neighboring countries in terms of security and sovereignty,” hailing the Resistance's “vital role” in producing “this reality,” the National News Agency reported on Monday.
“Lebanon is better off than any of its neighboring countries in terms of security, stability and safeguarding the border mainly that the Resistance has played a fundamental and vital role in producing this reality,” said Fayyad during a religious ceremony in the southern Tayybeh town.
“We salute, respect and highly appreciate the efforts of the Lebanese army. We believe that this national army has played its role to the best of it. But what brought the situation to a positive end at the level of security and stability was mainly based on what the Resistance has produced through its devoted positions and performance,” added Fayyad.
“A few years ago we used to say that the Resistance plays a role in liberating the land and safeguarding Lebanon from the Israeli threat. But today we can say that the Resistance has a role in liberating the land and confronting anything that threatens this entity, whether Israeli, takfiri or anything else.
"Therefore the State's sovereignty, logic and presence can not exist at this stage or be upright without the the role of Resistance,” stated Fayyad.

المقاومة أطالت أمد الاحتلال، كان هناك عرض مقدّم من الحكومة الإسرائيلية عام 1994 فهل تخبرنا الحكومة اللبنانية لماذا انسحبت يومها من المفاوضات عندما قُدّم العرض الإسرائيلي للانسحاب؟ انسحب لبنان من المفاوضات لأنه ربط نفسه بالقافلة السورية وأذاب شخصيته السياسية والدبلوماسية، ونص هذا العرض لا يزال موجوداً واسألوا سفير لبنان في واشنطن آنذاك السيد سيمون كرم فهو يعرف الكثير.

- عون:كان هناك حل مطروح، فليشرحوا لنا لماذا لم يقبلوه أو لماذا لم يطلبوا تعديلات؟ لماذا لم يبلغوا واشنطن بأنهم يريدونتعديل بعض ما جاء فيه وينتظرون لمعرفة ماذا ستفعل؟ رفضوه بالمطلق وقالوا أن إسرائيل تريد المياه والأرض في لبنان، وأعلنت إسرائيل العكس فقالوا لها "لا، أنت تريدين المياه والأرض"، أنا أتحدث الآن أمام الشعب اللبناني وأنا مسؤول عن كلامي.

(BTW "this entity" has got an name, a proud one. And until very recently unrecognized by only one other entity, Baathist Syria. It's called Lebanon, try to memorize it)

إسرائيل رصدت تحرك نصرالله يوم زار الأسد .. ولم تستهدفه
زعمت صحيفة “يديعوت أحرونوت” أن إسرائيل رصدت الأمين العام لـ”حزب الله” السيد حسن نصر الله “متنكراً في زي رجل أعمال أثناء قيامه بزيارة سرية غير معلنة مع حراسه الشخصيين إلى دمشق”، لمقابلة الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد.
