Hashem Says Arab League Must Understand Lebanon's 'Particularity'

W300

MP Qassem Hashem rejected the Arab League naming of Hizbullah as a “terrorist” organization, describing the party as a “major component of the Lebanese fabric.”

In an interview with radio VDL (93.3) Hashem said Hizbullah is “part of Lebanon's political society. It constitutes a fundamental part in the Parliament and Cabinet and has its own popular and political weight.”

Hashem added saying that the Arab League “must understand Lebanon's particularity,” asserting that “Lebanon is keen on having strong and excellent ties with the entire Arab countries.”

“Hizbullah is dealing with all Lebanese issues wisely and positively mainly the recent crisis,” said the lawmaker, adding “but some issues can not be tolerated, especially external dictates, in light of the seriousness of what we are going through. What is happening today is not normal and we are all concerned with fortifying the internal arena.”

The closing statement of an emergency Arab League meeting on Sunday labeled Hizbullah as “terrorist”, which prompted Lebanon’s representative to voice reservations over certain clauses.

The statement accused Hizbullah of “training terrorist groups” in Bahrain, “supporting terrorist groups” in Saudi Arabia, and “supporting terror and terrorist groups in Arab countries with advanced weapons and ballistic missiles.”

And describing Hizbullah as a “partner in the Lebanese government,” the statement also accused the group of “spreading extremism and sectarianism” and “interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.”

The Lebanese envoy to the meeting, Antoine Azzam, made carefully weighed comments at the talks.

While not mentioning Iran by name, he said Lebanon condemned all attacks against Arab nations, but blamed exploitable inter-Arab divisions that allowed international and regional powers to promote their interests.

Qassem Hashem: "Hizbullah is “part of Lebanon's political society. It constitutes a fundamental part in the Parliament and Cabinet and has its own popular and political weight.”

Great Logic!

What the Arab League and the International community should have done and should do is label and consider that so called 'fabric' of the Lebanese society as terrorist and criminal.

So if tomorrow ISIS or similar terror groups have popular support in Lebanon does that legitimize them like this terrorist MP is trying to justify.

Majority rule with minority rights, not a few failed warlords and their brown-nosers. Article 24 must go. The people deserve a constitution. Easy for me to say from where I am? Use it or lose it. If you don't have it, get it. Shias are the majority in Lebanon. Why else is Article 24 relevant: the fifty-fifty split of Parliament between Christians and Muslims? The Lebanese Sunnis are the key factor.

This lunatic thinks that Ebola's adventures in Syria are normal... he thinks that sending Lebanese Militia men to the far East of Syria to fight other sided extremists without any mandate from the Lebanese Government or People is normal... WTF!!??

Because the shia of Lebanon have chosen to support hezbollah, then all of hezbollah kidnapping activities, money laundering, drug trade, terrorist activities in Bahrain, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Bulgaria, Egypt and Lebanon are all justifiable and legitimate.

Lock this iranian up immediately!

Hashem Says Arab League Must Understand Lebanon's 'Particularity'

There is no 'Particularity' here ya terrorist. Terrorism is terrorism no matter how much you want to sugar-coat it.

Let us then justify zionism and its 'Particularity' because a large number of jews support it.
Let us then justify Nazism and its 'Particularity' because the Germans during WWII supported it.

If the shias of Lebanon choose to support and vote for a terrorist organization then they should also be considered terrorists. End of Story!

“part of Lebanon's political society. It constitutes a fundamental part in the Parliament and Cabinet and has its own “part of Lebanon's political society. It constitutes a fundamental part in the Parliament and Cabinet and has its own popular and political weight.”

Disarm Hezbollah and let's see how much " popular and political weight " they will have. Hezbollah's only 'Particularity' is the fact they are a treacherous gang, illegitimate, illegal, and a terror organization.

If elections were held in Syria or Iraq last year, ISIS would have won the elections in areas it controlled and would have had strong " popular and political weight ", so what is the argument the traitor is trying to articulate?
