Hariri, Foucher Discuss Preparations ahead of Donor Conference


Prime Minister Saad Hariri has met with French Ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher on Monday, as Lebanon is gearing up for the Cedre Conference, a major donor conference to be held Paris on April the 6th.

Discussions highlighted the preparations ahead of the conference which was called the Paris IV Conference. It aims at garnering international support for Lebanon's economy and seek funding for an infrastructure investment program.

The meeting was held in the presence of Hariri's adviser Nadim al-Munla.

Lebanon is looking forward for three conferences including the Rome II conference that will be held in the Italian capital on March 15. It is aimed at bolstering support for the Lebanese Army and security forces.

Its purely a loan process program, Lebanon will assume the loan and as usual a few in government will benefit from it.
