Aoun: We Won't Leave Baabda or Allow Anyone to Seize Control of Lebanon
President Michel Aoun announced Thursday that he “will not allow anyone to seize control of Lebanon,” in a fiery speech during a lunch banquet.
Telling the attendees a fictional story about a little girl and her father, who was a ship captain, Aoun added: “Do not be afraid: we will not abandon the ship and we will rescue all those on board.”
“We are present here and we are not used to abandoning our responsibilities. During a previous era, we confronted tanks, warplanes and cannons and we were not scared. I was here in Baabda next to you,” the president said.
“We will not leave Baabda and we will not allow anyone to seize control of Lebanon,” Aoun added.
"I was here in Baabda next to you,” the president said."
You ran and abandoned your soldiers. History is witness to that.
Who are you fooling senile man?
'a real man; a fearless leader'

Aoun: We Won't Leave Baabda or Allow Anyone to Seize Control of Lebanon
Your mere existence is proof that Iran and Syria are controlling Lebanon.
He made it a farm for his family. The worst so called president ever.
The problem is that he said the same thing back in October 1990 before he ran away the next day leaving his family and his soldiers!
The worst enemies that a nation could have are those who live within its borders. Lebanon was doomed the minute Michel Aoun was appointed Prime Minister in the then transitional government in 1988!
Never has Lebanon known or seen a president who is keen on rescuing 'all those on board' like this one, ever!
