Lebanon Coronavirus Infections Rise to 93

The Health Ministry announced that the number of people infected with COVID-19 coronavirus rose to 93 on Saturday.

In a statement the ministry said that at “noon on March 14 the suspected cases rose to 93 including those at the government’s Rafik Hariri University Hospital and those reported from other hospitals.”

“The Ministry continues to monitor testing samples taken from people suspected of having the virus and monitors all individuals who came from countries where the virus has widely spread and those who got in contact with them,” said the statement.

It added that the majority of the cases infected with the virus came from abroad.

The Ministry urged all citizens to adhere to the “strict measures issued by the official references,” and to abide by a stay home strategy to control the spread of the virus.
