Social Distancing Rule Breached as Hariri Prays in Tariq al-Jedideh
Al-Mustaqbal Movement leader ex-PM Saad Hariri performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer Sunday at the Imam Ali Mosque in Tariq al-Jedideh, in the presence of former MP Ammar Houry and a number of religious figures and dignitaries and a crowd of worshipers.
Upon leaving the mosque, worshipers and a large group of people from Tariq al-Jedideh – a Mustaqbal bastion -- gathered around Hariri and reiterated their support for him.
The breach of coronavirus social distancing rules drew criticism from some media outlets and on social networking websites, although Hariri and many bodyguards and worshipers wore medical masks.
Hariri later visited the grave of his father, slain ex-PM Rafik Hariri, in downtown Beirut.
"do as we order you to, but don't do like we do" is their motto....
Always setting the example in chaos
So Lebanon has now proved that it is like every other country, where the leaders say "Do as I say, not as I do"
Que la peste les emporte tous.
