Nigeria Protesters Block Lagos Airport

Hundreds of protesters blocked the international airport in Nigeria's economic capital Lagos on Monday, witnesses told AFP, as demonstrations sparked by police violence paralyzed the city.  

Footage sent from the scene showed crowds of young demonstrators waving flags and placards outside the terminal, with a witness saying they then blocked the main access route.
