EU Says Lebanon Leaders Must Solve 'Self-Made Crisis'

The European Union on Friday called on Lebanese politicians to urgently form a new Cabinet, hours after Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri announced his resignation.

The EU's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, said Lebanese leaders are responsible for solving "the current domestic, self-made crisis," adding that it is urgent to form a new cabinet quickly.

He said that an agreement with the International Monetary Fund remains essential to rescue the country from financial collapse.

"Lebanon's stability and prosperity are crucial for the whole region and for Europe," Borrell added in a statement.

The EU and the USA could in seconds solve the problem of Lebanon by simply blocking all the bank accounts of all the political elite in Lebanon. But they will not do that because they are worse than these politicians and have a different agenda. That's why, I don't give a damn for the EU or the US because they all are in a state of verbosity alone. Three weeks ago, they were threatening sanctions, and yet, nothing happened. Are they really fooling us?

Self-made by the corrupt leaders and the corrupt people who support them and think their preferred leader is better than the other corrupt leader. Just the fact that devils from the civil war are still active in lebanese politics and people act like its normal says enough.
