Miqati Arrives in Cairo, Meets al-Sisi, Aboul Gheit

Prime Minister Najib Miqati arrived Thursday in Cairo on an official visit to Egypt.

He met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli.

Miqati and al-Sisi discussed the Lebanese-Egyptian relations and the situation in the region, the Premiership said.

Miqati also visited the Arab League's headquarters where he met with the League's Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
