Bassil Accuses Geagea of Implementing 'Foreign Agenda', Seeking 'Civil War'

W300

Free Patriotic Movement chief Jebran Bassil on Tuesday commented on ex-PM Saad Hariri’s decision to withdraw from political life as he slammed Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea as being “obsessed with war.”

“Someone has chosen to be sanctioned (by the U.S.) to prevent civil war and someone has agreed to withdraw in order not to allow civil war,” Bassil tweeted, referring to himself and to Hariri.

“But there is someone who is determined to fight the war, and it is not important for him if he stabs his ally in the back or if he betrays a historic reconciliation,” the FPM chief added, apparently referring to Geagea.

“What’s important for him is to implement a foreign agenda and cause strife in Lebanon. The choice is between a militiaman who is obsessed with war and a statesman who is working to prevent it,” Bassil went on to say.

Bassil's controlling two ministries robbed Lebanon & future generations: FPM and cronies wasted/stole 50 billion for generating power & polluting our air. Considering solar and wind cost, Lebanon energy can be 100% from renewable with $20 billion investment. Not to mention hydro power potential. With wasted money, second modern airport can be built with $3 billion, less for high-tech ports in Tripoli and Saida. Monorail from Tripoli to Tyr for $8 billion. Modern fishery for $1 billion. Two tunnels linking ports to Bekaa & Akar for $5 billion. A giga factory for batteries to supply the whole Middle East for $4 billion, thousands of industrial robots for $2 billions, even a microchip foundry employing thousands of engineers for $5 billion. Second, telecommunication where Lebanon due to its small size should have been 100% fiber optic with new cables linking to Cyprus/Europe for less than $3 billion. Bassil think Lebanese are stupid. We’ll see him in court once Lebanon is free again.

No civilized country would ever have allowed civil war criminal Geagea to stay in politics. He makes Bassil and Hariri look good. I have never seen supporters of any lebanese party hold so much hatred as the LF and kataeb. They sing about the blood of other lebanese. They are raised on hate and secterianism. They wear a cross as a sign of hatred and not because they actually follow Jesus. They don't turn the other cheek, they don't love their enemies, they curse, they are unjust, they accuse others without looking at themselves, they support terrorists as long as they are right wing maronites, they look down on orthodox christians and the list continues. Geagea is a evil dangerous man.
