Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Friday announced that Lebanon’s upcoming parliamentary elections will not prevent his group from responding to any Israeli hostile act.

“I tell the Zionists that their planned exercises do not scare us but we will be prepared,” Nasrallah said in a speech marking Quds Day, referring to Israeli military exercises that will begin in early May.

“Over the past few weeks, our jihadist formations were conducting silent exercises,” Nasrallah revealed.

“When the Israeli exercises begin, the resistance in Lebanon will be at the highest levels of preparedness and readiness. We tell the Israeli enemy not to bet on exhaustion or hunger. Any act or foolishness will be met with an immediate response,” he warned.

“Elections will not keep us busy from responding,” Nasrallah said.

Separately, Hizbullah’s chief said that Iran “will strike Israel directly” should the “attacks on Iranian assets in the region continue.”

As for the Palestinian cause, Nasrallah said that the aim behind the “sanctions and siege” on some countries and movements is “pushing us all to abandon Palestine and Jerusalem and our water, oil and gas.”

“The military confrontations have proven to be capable of achieving victories and defeating the enemy, and this path must continue,” Nasrallah added.

“The Palestinians told the Israelis over the past weeks that they cannot occupy Palestine and still enjoy security,” he said.

“Liberating Palestine might not need great armies or weapons, but rather martyrdom fighters,” Nasrallah noted.

Reiterating “the importance of the regional equation for protecting Jerusalem and al-Aqsa,” Nasrallah called on the region’s nations to “tell Israel that Jerusalem’s demise would mean Israel’s demise.”

“This generation, God willing, will pray in Jerusalem,” Nasrallah concluded.

If there was peace between Israel and Lebanon, prayers in Jerusalem could already be next year. Ask those from the states that have peace with Israel just how uplifting it is to pray at al-Aqsa.
Exactly how many vistories have the Palestinians had over Israel, Israel's War of Independence left the Palestinians (although that word was never used then) with less territory than the UN Resolution, 1956 Israel occupied Gaza, 1967 Israel occupied Sinai, Gaza, West Bank. Later Egypt and Israel sign peace, Egypt got back Sinai, after that Jordan and Israel signed peace, Jordan gave up all demands for the West Bank, they realised that the population there was just a pain the neck. Early 21st Century, Israel withdrew from Gaza, why didn't they declare an independent state? Simply because in that situation they could blame Israel for everything.

Nasrallah: Elections won't prevent us from responding to any Israeli foolishness..

or is it the other way around; start a foolish "لو كنت أعلم" war with Israel like in 2006 and use it as an excuse to postpone or torpedo the Elections. The "divine victory" in that war permanently relocated him to the sewers and out of harm's way. I suppose martyrdom and suicide missions is something he only pushes on others not himself.

A month after Lebanon joins the "Abraham Agreements", the first Lebanese will already be able to travel to Jerusalem to pray at al-Aqsa, possibly even on their way to the Haj.
It all depends on a sensible Lebanese government decision, not on Israel nor on Nasrallah and his Hizballah terrorists..

Nasrallah Friday’s sermon is laughable. Scary some people listen to his garbage and distortion to reality, behaving like the brainless uneducated Basij in Iran. Sad what happened to Lebanon, a pioneer of enlightenment and intellectualism in the Arab world. Not only Hizbollah and Israel are two sides of the same coin, Israel should enact a monument to thank Hizbollah for protecting its border and destroying any competition with Lebanon in international trade, port activity, banking and education systems, and Lebanese historical role in providing technical and financial expertise to Gulf nations. Soon Israeli experts will displace Lebanese managers in Dubai and all the Gulf region. No other organization in the world has provided more services to Israel than Hizbollah, an Iranian militia that is created, funded, armed and indoctrinated by Iranian Basij.
