Alec Baldwin, 53, Engaged to 28-Year-Old Yoga Instructor

The “30 Rock” movie star Alec Baldwin, of 53 years, got engaged over the weekend to 28-year-old yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, the abc news said Tuesday.

Alec’s representative told the People magazine "Alec proposed to Hilaria this weekend,” saying “we're all excited for the newly engaged couple. Alec's birthday is tomorrow - great way to celebrate!"

Abc news said that Thomas and Baldwin started dating last summer, and that Thomas is already part of the family as she and Baldwin's daughter from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger, Ireland, exchanged congratulatory tweets.

Thomas teaches at the Yogavida studio in New York City. The studio's website says Thomas spent her childhood between the U.S. and Spain, and received a degree in dance and art history from New York University before becoming a yoga instructor.
