Beirut Souks Host Queen’s Jubilee Fashion Show

The Queen's Jubilee Fashion Show, in coordination with Fashion Consultant Paola Rbeiz concluded the events of GREAT week in Beirut in style, showcasing 20 pieces specially created by Lebanon's most prominent designers for the event, all taking inspiration from the British monarchy, the British Embassy in Beirut said in a press release Wednesday.

Designs included regal hats, jewelry, dresses and coats inspired by the Royal Family and the British military.

The event held in Beirut Souks was attended by the British Ambassador to Lebanon Tom Fletcher and social and media figures. Following the show, a charity auction helped raise 10,000$ for Basma and Dar al-Aytam al-Islamiya Lebanese humanitarian NGOs.

The renowned Lebanese designer Nemer Saade, donated his men's military jacket to Ambassador Fletcher, the release concluded.
