Bahrain Protests to Lebanon over ‘Terrorist Threats’: Could Raise this Issue before International Powers

Bahrain has filed an official complaint to the Lebanese government over Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s recent statements last week on the protests in the Gulf state.

Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed al-Khalifa stated that his country won’t be lenient with the threats of a “terrorist organization.”

He warned that the complaint may be relayed to international sides if Lebanon does not take it into consideration.

He added however to al-Arabiya television: “We did not issue the complaint without first consulting with the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council.”

“The threat has reached such an extent that it is tantamount to a conspiracy that not only targets Bahrain, but several countries in the region,” he stressed.
