Dylan’s New Reference: Leonardo DiCaprio

The legendary name of folk music Bob Dylan composed a song for his upcoming album ''Tempest'' about the Titanic movie and referred to famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio in the lyrics.

Dylan said that the song about Titanic was 13 minutes long during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

‘’I listened to the titanic soundtrack for a night and after hearing the melody, I thought I could do something with it,’’ he added.

When asked about what he thought of the reference Dylan said: ‘’People are going to say ‘’this is not very true’’ but lyrics writers don’t worry about what is right. They worry about what happened and what might happen. That is the writer’s own truth. This is just like people who read Shakespeare’s books and yet haven’t watched any plays.’’

The musician has mentioned many famous names in his previous lyrics such as Brigitte Bardot, Anita Ekberg and Sophia Loren in the song ‘’I Shall Be Free’’ and Tony Perkins in ‘’Motorpsycho Nightmare.’’

The name of the album has also got fans thinking that this could be Dylan’s last album. Given that The Tempest was Shakespeare's final play, and knowing that Dylan constantly makes references to the great playwright and poet, the fans wondered whether this was the 71-year-old artists way of telling them that this is to be his last album.

Dylan, however, responded to rumors, telling Rolling Stones last week: "Shakespeare's last play was called The Tempest. It wasn't called just plain Tempest. The name of my record is just plain Tempest. It's two different titles."

Thousands of fans wait for the musicians 35th album which is expected to achieve great success in charts all around the world.

Dylan’s ‘’Tempest’’ is due to come out on September 11.
