Miqati Receives Roknabadi, Discusses Bilateral Agreements

Prime Minister Najib Miqati held talks on Tuesday with Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi on the latest developments at the regional and international levels, in addition to bilateral agreements signed between Lebanon and Iran.

After the meeting at the Grand Serail, Abadi said: “The PM and I discussed the developments at the regional and international levels, mainly focusing on bilateral relations between the two countries.”

Discussions touched on the signed agreements, highlighting the necessity to activate what has been agreed upon.

A delegation of experts and technicians from the Labor Ministry will head to Tehran next week to activate the labor agreement signed between the two countries,Roknabadi announced.

A delegation of managers and experts in the Ministry of Tourism will also head to Tehran to enhance tourism cooperation between the two countries.

Roknabadi added: "Miqati and I discussed the Iranian-Lebanese economic and trade conference to be held in Tehran on the 13th and 14th of October. 500 trade and economic companies from the private sector will take part in the conference in addition to 50 economic and commercial figures from the Lebanese private sector.”

The ambassador concluded: “We also discussed the rest of the signed agreements and highlighted the need to remove obstacles hampering the implementation of some of them.”

now we have agreements to fulfill with persia - kinda reminds me with all the agreements we had with the butcher of damascus - who kept telling the lebanese people to fulfill them or else - they refer to them as bilateral agreements - which is a incredibly laughable - when will this joke end...
