Security forces arrested two people for arguing with police after blocking the Hboush-Nabatiyeh main road with burning tires, the National News Agency reported Thursday.

The two men along with several other protestors were calling for the collapse of the country’s confessional system, NNA said.

The security forces were capable of reopening the road after warning the protestors that they would arrest them if they blocked it again. But the policemen later seized two people for engaging in a verbal clash with them, the agency said.

They were taken for questioning to the Nabatiyeh police station, NNA added.
