Faisal Karami Snaps Back at Geagea: Killer Has no Right to Discuss Sunni Representation

W300

Youth and Sports Minister Faisal Karami on Thursday slammed Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, saying he is the “killer” of his uncle former Prime Minister Rashid Karami.

Geagea said during a press conference Wednesday that Shiite politics is dominating Premier Najib Miqati’s cabinet, while the Sunni majority is not included in the government and half of the country’s Christians are not represented.

Asked by reporters about the LF leader’s remark, Karami said: “We know whom we represent.”

“But what does he represent,” Karami wondered. “The killer of a prime minister does not have the right to talk about this subject.”

The minister made his remark after visiting former President Emile Lahoud.

Karami also snapped back at the March 14 forces, saying “let them be patient until the policy statement is issued. They can judge on our deeds and not words.”

The March 14 general-secretariat has accused Miqati’s cabinet of seeking to take Lebanon back to the era of Syrian hegemony and integrate the country’s institutions into Hizbullah’s statelet.

another prime minister was killed too,and nobody went to jail yet like the only person who paid for civil war crimes, and by the way ur uncle divided the army and facilitated the collapse of the country into a civil war with 150 thousands killed and 100,000 maimed.
n.b.what is ur education since we have thousands of educated young lebanese unemployed?ya ma'ali ilwazir by inheritance?

The problem with the politician is that they waste their time playing politics and not concentrating on the portfolio they have been nominating to put into action.
Instead of discussing politics, discuss platform and worry about the youth and sport to whom you belong
Good luck

Maybe Geagea had something to do with the killing of Mr. Karami's uncle. Geagea spent 11 years in solidary confinement for this crime.
But Mr. Karami is in league with, and his family has been in league with the Assad family for years who are responsible for the deaths of 20,000 in Hama and who knows how many more this year. How much time have they spent in prison.
Mr. Karami is in League with Mr. Berri whose Amal movement waged the Camp Wars against the Palestinian camps in Beirut. How much time did Berri spend in jail for these killings?
To refer to any militia leader from 25 years ago as a killer without referring to them all as killers is hypocritical and shows an inability address the message, so one engages in childish assaults on the messenger.

I don't think Mr Karami has the right to discuss sunni representation either. He is a minister only because Miquati's desperate times called for desperate measures!

ya Faisal, you better study the Lebanese history as I think you probably were not even born or you were in diapers when your uncle screwed up the country real bad. Geagea is the only honorable leader in Lebanon today and nobody but him will save our nation from morons like yourself.

Your voice will get more attention rather than anger

Mustapha o.ghalayini, you are correct 1000% his uncle divided the Lebanese army and facilitated for the Lebanese civil war, providing for the palestinians weapons, helping them take over, Samir Geagea although i do not like him a lot, not because of what i hear, but because of what i see, his way of talking, very different from a real leader like Sheikh Bachir Gemayel, but anyway, he stayed in jail for 11 years in a 10m2 cell, while others who did crimes worse than that were happy and living la vida loca, specially General Aoun, insect of Rabieh, that fled living hundred of soldiers to die and that allied now with the same people he had sworn to fight against, and they didnt change their behavior toward the country he has once sworn to protect too.

- Anyway to come back to Mr faisal karami, heir of his dirty useless senile father, omar, which's governement was in charge when Rafik Hariri died, so as Samir Kassir,ur uncle deserved to be exploded in his helicopter in thousand of pieces

What a joke! This guy should be the last person to defend Sunnis or anyone else. His father was getting appointed as PM by Hizb-Al-Selah and he was stabbed in the back. Now Hizb-Al-Selah appoints him to use him like “daddy”.
Just one question to “ma3ali 2alwazeer”: what are you going to tell the youth of Lebanon that you are supposed to represent? Are you going to tell them that the sky is the limit for them in Lebanon and that they can be all they can be if they are good citizens?
Or,
Are you going to tell them you are qualified and that is why you are in this position?
“Ya 3aib Alshoum”!!!

Faisal Karami in his first public statement is introducing himself as a perfect fit for the Basij with a perfect mentality of a Syrian Mukhabarat. I am ashamed to be a Lebanese represented by such repulsive individuals... Welcome to Hizbollahstan... But what to expect from a government formed by Iran's Basij, Syria's Beri, Assad's Marada, Aoun Khadaffi, Don Quixote Bassil and all their political mafia of unbalanced and vengeful politicians. We the free people of Lebanon request the international community treat this government as illegitimate imposed by the Basij arms and Mukhabarat puppets. We can’t wait for Cedar Revolution II in 2013 to get rid once for all of all this garbage knowing that as the sun is certain to rise so the tyrants in Syria and Iran are certain to fall, and our firm promise is that every idiot or accomplice will be brought to justice for selling Lebanon to tyrants.

Mr. Faisal Karami, we already have 3 useful idiots selling their community and destroying Lebanon for their personal ambitions. We don't need more useful idiots so please go home. People like you are a perfect fit in an Iranian or Syrian cabinet, but a monstrous embarrassment to all free Lebanese. With such an introduction, nothing else you say has any value since you have been appointed by the Basij and being played like a marionette. Welcome to Hizbollahstan...

Who is this person...never even heard of him before this article! He only represents his family nothing else. And going back to his uncle, it is true he is one of the people directly responsible for the 74 war which killed over 150,000 Lebanese and crippled thousands more, destroyed our country and instilled hatred for generations to come. He should not be using his name as if he was a martyr... far from it.

Thumb joeleb almost 13 years

Had it not been for The Lebanese Forces and Geagea, Lebanon would have become Palestine....it is thanks to them and people like them that we still have a country called Lebanon!!! The Karamis have always been more loyal to Syria and the Pals than to Lebanon, and this infant has no right to attack Geagea. Geagea was the only Lebanese leader that payed for what he did during the war, everyone else got rewarded with a goverment position, Berri being the best example.
Go play with your toys little one, don't make it a habbit to repeat what others say like a 4 year old would.

We got a new amateur in the cabinet and he is starting to make a noise crying for attention. His uncle Rashid has paid the price for not allowing the Lebanese army to be deployed and quel the civil stife which took place while he was the prime minister. Of course, he did what his Syrian handlers asked him to do.

Can someone please explain
If someone is accused of murder should be dealt in a court of Law in front of a Judge and sent to jail if found guilty
But if someone accuse a person in public like this fellow did he should be charged with defamation and sent to Jail
What kind of Law is in Lebanon please educate me?

Wow! This guy is in politics for less than a week and he wants get into complex issues that were burried in the past. As many have posted on this website, your uncle and father were in bed with the palastinains and Syrians that have casued authrocities in Lebanon and Syria. If this was in any other country, whether as politicians or not, they would be charged with treason and shot to death. So with all do respect, better to keep your mouth shut and fulfil your national duties instead of following your dad's and uncle example of being a crony in the foreigners hands.
