10 Soldiers Wounded as Humvee Overturns on Aqoura-Mneitra Road

Ten soldiers were injured on Friday when an army Humvee overturned on the Aqoura-Mneitra road in a mountainous area of the district of Jbeil, the National News Agency reported.

NNA said that the Lebanese Red Cross took the wounded soldiers to Notre Dame de Secours hospital in Jbeil.

It identified them as: Mohammed Salhab, Deeb Hanna, Hasan al-Shemali, Mohammed al-Rifai, Ahmed al-Assaad, Ahmed al-Rifai, Ibrahim al-Faqih, Ahmed Darwish, Khodr Bakhour and Mohammed al-Zaim.

Easy, you re talking about US Hummvee, those that were returned from Iraq as they were not heavely protected against bombs.

It is a piece of useless steel, brough in Lebanon to get our soldiers killed even with a hunting gun.

@teacher: Yes, they were not armored enough against explosive devices under the cars, the bottom of the car wasn't armored enough. Go and try to shoot some people in a military hummvee with a hunting rifle and see how that works.
