Geagea Urges Suleiman, Salam to Swiftly Form Cabinet
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea called on Monday President Michel Suleiman and Tammam Salam to swiftly end the cabinet formation process, pointing out that the matter hasn't reached a deadlock yet.
“Those who are concerned with the matter, including Suleiman and Salam, are exerting efforts to form the government as soon as possible,” Geagea said in comments published in An Nahar newspaper.
He pointed out that forming the cabinet according to the parliamentary seizes is “unconstitutional.”
Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam is seeking the formation of a 24-member cabinet in which the March 8, March 14 and the centrists camps would each get eight ministers and rejects to grant the veto power to any side.
The March 8 alliance has meanwhile been demanding that it granted veto power in a new cabinet.
While the March 14 coalition is calling for keeping Hizbullah away from the cabinet lineup over its role in Syria's war.
“The Lebanese have to say their word and resume dialogue and reach consensus over the formation of the cabinet,” Geagea said.

Even though I don't idolize Mr Geagea, but I agree with him that a government should be formed regardless of what the useless M8 wants or demands... They don't own the country and their current outgoing cabinet was worthless from the start and has brought one disaster after another thnks to Aoun and his idiots... And of course ali baba nasrallah and his terror gang...

I honestly hope that we will have a country to call our own in 10 years time because the way things are heading, it does not look good. Everyone seems to have their idea of what that country should be and the views are so far from each other that there is no way that we will ever have a unified nation. I hope I am wrong, I so want to be wrong.

All we can do is sit back and laugh at the same people saying the exact same thing. It is almost amazing that after 40 years we have learned nothing. How can the same people who were involved in our main sectarian conflicts in the past be the same people now telling us what needs to be done. How can they mess up so badly and still be there dictating their opinions. I am sick of all these so called politicians and I mean all of them. We are an educated nation so why are we so ignorant when it comes to our own affairs.
We need to "swiftly form a cabinet". WOW, such words of wisdom. I am so impressed. As if none of us knew that. We need to do a lot of things none of which are being done because we are led by corruption worshipers who care nothing about the country and its people.

I don't know why you even stoop done to the level of Roar and converse with him. I have said it before, his propaganda and twisted logic reek of the lowest of all political parties in Lebanon, the SSNP. They have been the eyes, ears and tools of the Syrian Baath's relentless persecution, murder and imprisonment of their fellow countrymen. They are the scum of the earth.
LOL @ Doctor Gaegae-:) Get it thru your thick bald head: No government will be formed until and unless complete victory is achieved by the Islamic Iranian Resistance (IIR) aka HA (Hussain Army) in its GWOT (Global War On Terror).
