Judicial Police, Not Security Forces, to Conduct ‘Secret’ Search for Hariri Murder Suspects

W300

General Prosecutor Saeed Mirza has referred the arrest warrants issued by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon to the central judicial department, to which he instructed the course of action to be taken in implementing the warrants.

He refused to uncover the specific measures he adopted, telling As Safir newspaper in remarks published on Saturday that these steps cannot be revealed.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Marwan Charbel denied that his ministry had received anything related to the warrants, saying that this matter is restricted to the general prosecutor.

An Nahar daily reported on Saturday that should the four suspects in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri be confirmed as Hizbullah members, then they will be informed of the warrants according to the official procedures, which call for them to be handed the warrants in their place of residence.

The judicial police would be charged with this mission in an effort to keep the Internal Security Forces away from the political dispute linked to the tribunal and its indictment.

A security source revealed to the daily that the judicial police would head to the suspects’ towns of residence, asking the mayors for information on the location of their homes.

Should the suspects be unavailable, then the concerned authorities would be informed of the police’s inability to implement the warrant.

Observers said that this measure would allow Lebanon to avoid being accused of not committing to its responsibilities to the STL.

Is there anything still that is secret about this STL farce? We already knew years ago. Even if an elephant was involved it has already disappeared. Are you dumb or what? In any case, there is no need to search for anyone because you will find them in Israel and the US, the two most criminal nations that this earth has ever had in modern history, and no one did it but they. Regardless, they are to be thanked by all decent Lebanese for ridding them of the filthiest mafioso ever.

The Lebanese governement including Prime Minister Miqati thinks the international community is stupid. Everyone knows the suspects are already hiding i IRAN since Syria is no longer stable. Regardless, even if they never capture these suspects, but the truth is coming out and everyone will know Hizballah for what it really is - a terrorist organization.

What secrecy is there that is left with the farce that is called STL? The Israeli/Hariri news media and their tools in the West, such as Le Figaro, Der Spiegel and CBC. among others, have done a better and quicker job than the STL. No wonder the STL stands for Suck This Lollipop. Even if an elephant were accused would have disappeared years ago. Secret? Oh yeah, baby!

The search for the murder suspect will be so "secret," even those conducting it will not know.

Who're you kidding Mr. Miqatil? You are Hezbollah's busboy. I assure you Tripoli will vote you as the next dog catcher post if you're lucky.

I like the poster: al ma7kama... li ajal loubnan. The only ajal that it brought was that of Hariri, his mafia and the Christian Sunnis of March 14. As to Israel, well, it's too bad, because the stupidity of those mentioned above allowed you to bet away with the MURDERS. Any other alternatives left for you, bigger losers? Your years are really numbered now. tik tok tik tok tik tok...
