Sources: March 14 Walkout Means Rejection of Cabinet’s ‘Double Standards’
A decision by March 14 MPs to storm out of the parliament hall during the vote of confidence was taken last week and was an expression of discontent with the cabinet’s “double standards,” sources said Friday.
A Mustaqbal bloc source told al-Liwaa daily that the decision to walk out of parliament during Thursday's vote was taken at the large-scale meeting held at the Bristol hotel on Sunday.
The opposition MPs became more convinced to leave the hall when they did not get satisfied with Premier Najib Miqati’s response to their scathing attacks on the cabinet for not explicitly committing itself to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the source said.
Political sources also told An Nahar newspaper that the March 14 MPs’ move was aimed at sending a message of rejection to the government’s “double standards.”
There are two commitments in the cabinet, they said. Hizbullah clearly and honestly rejects the STL while Miqati has reiterated the “respect” for international resolutions and a decision to “follow the progress” of the court.
The clause of the tribunal in the policy statement states the following: "The government confirms that it will follow the progress of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, which was set up in principle to see justice served in a manner that is neither politicized nor vengeful, and as long as it does not negatively affect Lebanon's stability and civil peace.”

If you count them as an opposition, then you should not say out for good! Since out for good means either you will assassinate them like you did with all the rest.
or out for good means you will turn Lebanon in an Iranistan like they did making it a harriristan! So you and the package behind you, are not better.
What we need is a revolution like the Arab spring where everybody is packed in one plane and sent to KSA or IRAN or FRANCE and place for the youth to make a government.

I wasn't too surprised that they didn't leave during or immediately after Nawaf Moussawi hammered them with such cool (following Bahia's lousy and void reading) and to the point where you could feel their blood boiling. They were numb and dumbfounded. But they stayed to clap for Siniora, who was the last of the departing clowns to speak. It must have felt worse than Chinese water torture, exactly what the Lebanese have been feeling since the lousy days of Rafik until yesterday. Finally, Lebanon's Spring is a reality. Decent Lebanese, REJOICE.

Ya Phenicien, I am not sure who you are and what you are and I really don’t care. However, one thing I know is that if you think Rabie is the model for democracy then I don’t want this democracy as it is nothing more than a cover for the Iranian-Syrian axis of evil, and all of Aoun followers know this fact.
Guys like you use the word “democracy” very loosely and without knowing what it means, and for sure without ever practicing its principles. And in spite of what you think, Lebanon is not an Emirate, Lebanon will NEVER become an Iranian playground, Lebanon is not Fatah-Land, and for sure Lebanon is not a Syrian puppet.
I don’t care if Saad Hariri comes back. I don’t care who the PM is, and I don’t care who the president is. A country with 5000 years of civilization will never to succumb to anyone including hizballah who is now a fad and will soon disappear.
So why don’t you sing a different tune and the Land of the Cedars will continue to flourish despite people like yourself.

As for Rabieh giving courses of democracy...well...I admire Aoun for all that he has done:
- Abandon his soldiers to be massacred!
-Steal the money that was handed to him to support the war effort.
- Accuse Syria of assasinating Hariri then ally with them.
- Go plead the SAC in the USA then insult the US.
- Put barricades and hostage the streets and the BCD.
Etc...

What to do to make them understand the meaning of democracy to the " bad " losers of March 14 !?
They have never been in opposition since they came to power 20 years ago , they ruled the country like their masters do in KSA , as if Lebanon was an Emirate , or a Hariristan (...) .
Their " leaders " should go to rabié for a course " stage " in opposition , if they want to learn the bases of the real opposition in Democracy ...!!
This government is here to stay , they can walk out as long as they want , one thing is sure ; they are OUT for good .
