Counterfeit Notes Worth USD 900,000 Confiscated in Nabatieh
Members of the General Security Directorate in the southern province of Nabatieh raided a shop where currency counterfeit operations were taking place in the city and arrested its owner.
"Real bills worth USD 100,000 and counterfeit notes estimated at USD 900,000 were confiscated,” the state-run National News Agency detailed.
"The forces also confiscated instruments used for forging the bills.”
The NNA pointed out: "Financial Prosecutor in Nabatieh Judge Ali Ibrahim ordered the raid and it was supervised by the chief of the General Security's Nabatieh dept., Captain Ali Halawi.”
The shop's owner, M.J. Hoballah, was referred along with the confiscated items to the General Prosecution, according to the same source.

The Dollars will be exchanged with real ones as well as real Lebanese money and you could be one of those recipients if you live in Lebanon- it's called money laundry and it does affect your Lebanese Lira. Look at it this way, you buy an iPhone for $500, but you receive a fake one instead that looks perfect on the outside. Then one day it stops working and you go to repair it under warranty, they tell you it's fake and it's worth nothing now. How would that make you feel

Any group or political faction that has power will obviously have elements within it that are corrupt. HA does not fall out of this category. But to be a racist bigot like yourself and label all shia as criminal then theres no reasoning with disgusting people like yourself. Shia are the majority in Lebanon. Deal with it or leave.
