Prostitution Ring Busted in Marjeyoun
The General Directorate of State Security on Monday busted a prostitution ring in the southern region of Marjeyoun.
“The Marjeyoun-Hasbaya bureau of State Security managed to arrest in the Marjeyoun region the members of a prostitution ring, which is comprised of M. H., N. A. and Sh. M.,” state-run National News Agency reported.
The suspects are accused of “practicing and facilitating prostitution” and “blackmailing victims into paying large sums of money.”
“The ring members are being interrogated under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities,” NNA said.

what's weird is that we all know every "super nightclub" is a prostitution center, where they "import" girls from eastern europe and then use them like cattle, but the ISF never cracked down on them.

There you go. The way I see it, the pimps are equally, if not more, guilty and should be sent to jail. If prostitution is a crime, then facilitating a criminal act, here the prostitution itself, is a bigger crime. Cleaning up the shortcomings of the country starts from the bottom.
Prostitution is not illegal in Lebanon. On what bases were these poor ladies arrested? They should get help, not get arrested!
