New Suspect in the Mastita Crime Arrested

The Internal Security Forces arrested on Sunday a new suspect over his alleged involvement in Friday night's family crime in Jbeil's Mastita area.
"The ISF's Intelligence Bureau was able to arrest Alain al-Qouba in (the northern town of) Halba after prosecuting him,” the state-run National News Agency reported.
The NNA noted that al-Qouba is a main suspect in the crime that left four people killed and three others wounded.
The dispute started after Pamela Jawhari informed her friend Alain al-Qouba that a man was constantly following her.
On Friday night and as Alain was dropping her off to her home, they came across the stalker, who remained unidentified, said NNA.
A verbal dispute soon ensued and it developed into an armed clash.
This led to the intervention of Alain's father Michel and two Syrians identified as Khaled Mohammed al-Ahmed and Rifaat Mustapha Krad.
The clash left Michel Antoine al-Qouba, Tony Abi Younes, and Krad dead.
Carlos Jad Ghussein and Ahmed were meanwhile wounded in the violence.
Upon hearing of his son's death, Youssef Abi Younes, shot and killed himself, reported NNA.

really? Were you one of the investigators?

He is just guessing , y r u so sensitive

Hot-blooded third world reactions to trivial matters. This one left 4 people dead. If people in this country had some control over their emotions, perhaps they'd be able to reason with each other instead of killing each other for a yes, a no, or a maybe.

I disagree with Lancelot Dulac, your comment is more racial and lacks evidence, there is a dark side of this story, people like you don't even understand. Reality like any big city around the world when matter comes to guns in the wrong hands at the wrong time, you can be in NewYork, Berlin, LosAngeles, Paris, London or any where else this is happening every day around the world, whether your motive for retaliation or robbery you can't stop it with your French accent.

Lebanon is a mess. The constitution is a joke the sectarian nature is rubbish the rampant corruption is killing the economy , the discrimination towards women and the abuse of domestic workers, Lebanon employers hiring non Lebanese, I shows how patriotic they are to wards their people NOT.. There is not one aspect within the community based nation that functions well. It's all money money money such greedy people, destroy your nation support these community leaders who are dictators that feed off your misery. Keep the people poor so we can control them , elections are bought and it's imposed on most who have no financial independence. I wish that parliament is blown up when all mp are in house. They are dirty dirty dirty. I shows you the success they have had rebuilding and reconciling the nation.. Nothing zero zip zilch.. Inept.. These politician infuriate me. If I were to ever vomit violence it would be to my fellow citizens but to them dogs running our country. All of them..

This doesn't tell the entire story, the real problem here is the illegal arm in the hands of people think if no one had guns, this would be different story. But this is not the first killing over woman in Jbeil, it is the second case as a result of Deir Alahmar residents who constantly moved as new residents to Jbeil, majority are armed and drug dealers and very dangerous, they do provoke local residents into retaliation and buplic harrasing crimes. I hope it will be investigated properly and put 70% on the Deir Alfamar drug culture. The previous crime similar in Karbe when couples were found dead linked to Deir Alahmar residents.

I remember one shooting story in Ireland, a guy was shot in a bar and the two hundred witnesses they all were in the bathroom during the shooting.
This type of crime can take place in any place around the world as a result of the illegal arm in the wrong hands, also the dark side of it is that the main suspect here is the girl, drug and the tribe from Deir Alahmar, they move for easy money by dealing with drug imported from Baalbek. These tribes should be on surveillance. The police chief should resign for not providing enough security and not applying the disarming law.
