Geagea: Only Solution to Crisis is for State Institutions to Function Properly

Geagea said Wednesday that France was mulling to make an initiative to solve the Lebanese crisis stressing however that the only possible settlement is for state institutions to function properly.

"Let the institutions function again," Geagea told reporters at his residence in Maarab.

He lauded the Saudi ambassador's remarks that Lebanese should not await solutions from other countries.

The LF leader refused rumors that Prime Minister Saad Hariri was making trips abroad to buy time pending the release of the indictment by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

He also said the Lebanese should decide either to support the court or to reject it.
