Teen Girl, Child Killed in Traffic Accident in al-Ghassaniyeh

A teen girl and a toddler were killed and their young brother was wounded Sunday in a traffic accident in the southern area of al-Zahrani.

“A black Mitsubishi SUV flipped over around 8:30 pm on the public road between al-Ghassaniyeh and Kawthariyet al-Siyyad,” the National News Agency reported.

“Hadi Hasan al-Roumi, 21, was driving the car, accompanied by his sister Zainab, 19, and his brother Mohammed, 7,” NNA said.

Zainab and Mohammed were immediately killed in the crash as Hadi sustained multiple bruises and fractures.

The two bodies and the wounded young man were transferred to the Sheikh Ragheb Harb Hospital in the southern town of Toul.

The agency said security forces inspected the scene and launched a probe into the incident.
