Army Prevents Robber from Breaking into Shop in Faitroun

W300

An army patrol opened fire on Sunday at a thief while he was trying to break into a shop in the village of Faitroun in the Mount Lebanon area of Keserwan.

The robber was injured after exchanging fire with the army and was admitted to the Saint George hospital.

The army later said in a communique that Elie Issam Jamal opened fire using a hunting rifle at an army patrol in the area of Faitroun while he was breaking into a cellular phone shop.

“The soldiers were compelled to reply to the source of fire,” the statement pointed out.

LBCI reported that the robber was breaking into High Cell Technology shop.

Investigations showed the vehicle that the thief was driving has been stolen three days ago, the channel added.

They should also arrest all the corrupt multimillionaires stealing the money of the people.

they shoot at a lone thief and let 50,000 thieves, criminals, and drug dealers in the Bekaa and Dahyeh free.

Dahyeh is a state within the state...no justice is allowed to penetrate.

Wish the army shot him dead, no one has the right to steal, no one.

The problem I have with this article is not that the army stopped a robber but rather the fact that the army should be in charge of the borders, disarming militas and defending the country from invaders. The Darak should be stopping robbers. HA has reduced our LAF to Darak.

On a second thought, I don't agree with all the comments that came earlier. You speak of weak security, how would you expect it would be without it at all? I want to expect someone seeing an act of wrongdoing and act justifiably based on that action. All I hear from the people "no they only raise their guns on the wrong people", "they can't lift it up to save their lives let alone save us". Etc...
no, I don't agree with all you freaks. Your intellect is flawed. Because of your backward thinking, we are in this mess to start with. We the people are irrevocably damaged.
