Chaz Bono Struggles, Ricki Lake Soars on "Dancing With the Stars"

W300

"Dancing With the Stars" contestants were asked to perform routines that reflected the most meaningful year of their lives, and when the dancing was done Monday night, Ricki Lake was in first place and Chaz Bono was in last — just like last week.

Lake's rumba, about finding love again after a painful divorce, was three points from perfect with a score of 27.

Bono said this year has been his most meaningful because "I'm happier than I've ever been." He danced a rumba to a song written by his father, Sonny Bono.

Chaz Bono collected 18 points for his routine — one better than last week but still the lowest of the 10 contestants.

Judges' scores are combined with viewer votes to determine who is ousted on Tuesday's results show.
