Cabinet Appoints Adnan Sayyed Hussein LU President
The Lebanese Cabinet appointed Wednesday former Minister Adnan Sayyed Hussein as President of the Lebanese University.
Sayyed Hussein holds a Ph.D. in political science from the Lebanese University with high honors; He began teaching at the Lebanese University in 1990.
Adnan Sayyed Hussein, a former minister aligned to President Michel Suleiman, resigned from the previous government after a telephone conversation with Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's political assistant, An Nahar daily reported.
The resignation caused the fall of the government.
