Geagea: Government Must Order Hizbullah to Stop Verbal Attacks against Saudi Arabia

W300

Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geaega stressed on Saturday that the government must demand Hizbullah to stop making fiery statements against Saudi Arabia following the Kingdom's decision that halted aid to the country's army.

“The Lebanese government must convene and draw a formal request for Hizbullah to stop its attacks against Saudi Arabia,” said Geagea in a press conference.

“A high level delegation must be formed to visit Saudi Arabia to put things in order so that it resumes its aid for Lebanon,” he added.

Saudi Arabia said on Friday that it has halted a $3 billion program for military supplies to Lebanon in protest against Hizbullah's policies and recent diplomatic stances by the Lebanese foreign ministry.

“Relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia have been impeccable since the civil war in the country until they tumbled recently,” Geagea pointed out.

Highlighting Hizbullah's campaign of verbal attacks against the Kingdom, Geagea said: “Saudi Arabia has been at the forefront in backing President Bashir Gemayel to reach the presidency and has offered generous aid during the 2006 Israeli war. The relations have been tainted recently for two reasons.

“A political party in Lebanon launched constant verbal attacks against the SA. It is a pity how the Lebanese government did not intervene,” the LF leader said.

“Secondly, is when the Saudi Embassy and consulate were attacked in Iran. Governments around the world, even Iran, denounced the attack while the Lebanese government decided to dissociate itself.”

Hakim: the government cannot do anything to stop hezbollah from insulting KSA. The Army could not and did not want to do anything to stop Hezbollah from going on a sectarian killing spree. The people are asking you to ask your presidential nominee General Aoun to intervene and rein in his son in law and soulmate Hezbollah and refrain from harming Lebanon's interests.

Who is Lebanon's Foreign Minister? Gibran Bassil
Who is Gebran Bassil? The Head of the FPM ( democratically elected and was the only candidate)
Who is Geagea nominating for President? The boss of Bassil and the founder of the FPM.

You are right nonabel, this is the sense of democracy the March 14 alliance have in store for Lebanon if they got to power.
You see now why we despise their kind?

It does not end at freedom of speecch. It has to do with Government positions taken by Bassil which did not condemn the Iranian attack on KSA embassy in Tehran. The reason he took that position is becausse they are beholden to HA who in turn is beholden too Iran.
@Mystic, you can say whatever you want about the sense of Democracy by M14. But every Lebanese witness HA sense of Democracy on daily basis in the form intimation, kidnapping, brutal force, shooting down Lebanese helicopters, assassinating M14 politicians and so on.

Even though I am against HA'd past use of weapons against Lebanese and their support of Assad regime occupation of Lebanon. Their comments about KSA are always true. KSA is not our friend. Just Hariri's. Although I want Assad to win, we need him to stay out of Lebanon. KSA is the biggest exporter of jihadis and terrorism worldwide.

so according to you, Geagea is no longer a war criminal, no longer a saudi stooge, no longer a child killer just because he nominated HA owned aoun.
