Syrian President Visits Christian Orphanage on Christmas Day
Syrian President Bashar Assad has visited a Christian orphanage near the capital Damascus on Christmas Day.
Photographs posted on the Syrian presidency's Facebook page showed the president along with his wife, Asma, standing with nuns and orphans in the Damascus suburb of Sednaya.
In the northern city of Aleppo, Christians celebrated Christmas for the first time in four years with the country's largest city now under full control of government forces.
The rebel withdrawal from east Aleppo last week marked Assad's biggest victory since Syria's crisis began in 2011.
Christians, one of the largest religious minorities at about 10 percent of Syria's pre-war 23 million-strong population, have tried to stay on the sidelines of the conflict. However, the opposition's increasingly outspoken Islamism has kept many leaning toward Assad's government.

Flamethrower, when a sect claims to follow a man and claim to be the real followers of this man but then go do what this man would never do, in fact something that this man would consider disbelief then yes people are going to call them out on it.

If you're really a christian then why would you get involved in a theological debate of a religion who's jurisprudence you don't understand? you just look ridiculous and like a boot licker. We don't need your fatwa on how Islam is to be followed, we have the Quran for that.
If you choose not to follow the bible while claiiming to be christian then that is up to you but in Islam, that kind of nonsense is unacceptable. A Muslim is not allowed to make halal and haram as he wishes and i doubt a christian is either but that is for the christians to discuss.

I don't celebrate christmas but i would NEVER kill a christian for being against me. Bashar celebrates christmas (as a secular thing) but he doesn't mind killing christians for being against him.
Sadly, minorities are easy targets for propaganda. They look at the false glitter while ignoring the filth in front of them.
Christian or Muslims all have our fair share of people who fall for such propaganda.
The syrian christian support for the war criminal bashar is similar to how American Muslims support Hilary and the democratic party even though they are killers of Muslims outside the US. It's fear and propaganda.
The syrian christian should not think that the same baath and same al-assad family beasts who set free their dogs to rape, torture and kill christians in lebanon aren't willing to do the same to them if they too decide that they don't want to be ruled by the Assads.
