Berlin Says Time 'Running Out' to Prevent No-Deal Brexit

Germany Foreign Minister Heiko Maas warned Friday that time was running out to prevent a no-deal Brexit, but added that the European Union was well prepared to cope with such an outcome.

"We are running out of time to prevent a disorderly Brexit. The British people must make a decision before April 12 on how to proceed," he said.

"I can only say that Germany and the EU are well prepared in any case," added Maas, noting that the bloc has made provisions to shield citizens from the negative impact of a hard Brexit.
