Aoun, Miqati Discuss Measures against Israel's Disputed Oil Drilling
President Michel Aoun held a meeting Tuesday in Baabda with Prime Minister Najib Miqati and Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib.
The Presidency said the meeting tackled the developments “after Israel tasked an American firm with offering evaluation services for the drilling of gas and oil wells in the disputed (offshore) area.”
“The meeting was dedicated to studying the repercussions of the Israeli step and the measures that Lebanon will take following the letter that it addressed to the U.N. in this regard,” the Presidency added.

but everything is fine with Syria having tasked a Russian company to explore an area comprising two blocks into the territorial Lebanese waters!
