Army dismantles Israeli aircraft missile in Hrajel

The army’s Engineering Regiment on Friday dismantled the unexploded Israeli aircraft missile that fell three days ago between residential buildings at the entrance of the Keserwan district town of Hrajel, the National News Agency said.

Media reports had said that the army would wait for three days to dismantle the missile in order to give time for its battery to run out.

The missile was discovered shortly after Israeli warplanes and drone carried out strikes in the eastern Baalbek region, not too far from the Keserwan district.

Low-altitude Israeli overflights were reported that day over the Keserwan region.
