Nasrallah says response to Shukur killing coming 'whatever the consequences'
Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Tuesday stressed that his group will respond to Israel’s killing of its military chief Fouad Shukur “whatever the consequences may be.”
Iran "finds itself obliged to respond, and the enemy is waiting in a great state of dread," Nasrallah said in a televised address commemorating Shukur, adding that Hezbollah will respond "alone or in the context of a unified response from all the axis" of Iran-backed groups in the region, "whatever the consequences."
“The Israeli wait for one week now for the response is part of the response and the punishment, because the battle is psychological, moral and military,” Nasrallah added.
“Regardless of any consequences, the resistance cannot let the assassination go unpunished,” he stressed, while saying that “no one in Lebanon or outside Lebanon should ask us to treat the Dahieh aggression as being normal.”
“Our response is coming and it will be strong and effective,” Nasrallah added, noting that “Israel is the side that chose escalation with Iran and Lebanon.”
Nasrallah also warned that “the Israeli factories in northern Israel, which are worth over $130 billion, can be destroyed in half an hour.”
“The battle's objective now is not to eradicate Israel but rather to prevent it from winning,” Nasrallah said, describing the assassinations of Haniyeh and Shukur as Israeli “achievements” but not a “victory” in the war.
“The secret behind our strength lies in continuity, because targeting our leaders will not harm our resolve and determination to continue the way,” he said.

The fingers of the Mossad have penetrate so deep inside the Shia community and Hezbollah's own security cordons they can perform a comprehensive prostate exam on any of them. Nasrallah is trying to rally the Shia with the lame "us and them" routine. The level of mistrust, not of "the rest" but of their own the "some", is at an all high, not felt since Hezbollah's assassinations of their opponents in Amal, LCP etc. It's not "the rest" that Nasrallah is afraid of, we're not the blabbermouths, and he knows this, it's his own.

The Lebanese government should not have approved this. Hezbollah is only one party, and while they control the military, other parties should have acted to block Hezbollah from this attack.

"Some in Lebanon should be afraid if Israel wins, not if the resistance wins." If, as surely is the case, all Shia are "some", who all are "the rest" in Lebanon?
Nasrallah is telling Lebanese that, if you are not "some", you should be afraid if the resistance wins and need not be afraid if it loses.
Nasrallah seems personally afraid for his own life being taken by assassination.
