Another Israeli strike hits heart of Beirut, targeting 'Hezbollah commander'
An Israeli airstrike hit a computer shop in central Beirut's Mar Elias area on Sunday evening, killing two people and wounding 13, the Health Ministry said.
Al-Arabiya television identified the target of the strike as "Hezbollah military commander Mahmoud Madi," saying the computer shop is owned by his brother.
Firefighters struggled to control a blaze sparked by the strike in the busy residential neighborhood as small explosions could be heard in the shop. Bystanders said they heard a second explosion during the strike and a car nearby appeared to be hit.
